Today was another perfect day for paddleboarding at Seagrass Plantation. By 2:00 p.m., the temperature was a comfortable 81 degrees, with clear skies and no chance of rain. It was great to see Rex and several other Seagrass Plantation residents and guests enjoying the water. Days like this are a reminder of how fortunate we are to live in such a beautiful community.

Last night was a perfect evening for paddleboarding from the Seagrass Plantation beach. At 7:00 p.m., it was a “cool” 89 degrees! 😎 The water was nice and calm after high tide rolled in, with no rain in sight.

I even ran into a fellow Seagrass neighbor, Rex, who was out enjoying the evening in his kayak. Great night to be on the water! 🏄‍♂️🛶🌅

Owls have a rough life. They have many predators. The screech owl must leave the owl box to get food for themselves and their babies. They also have to avoid hawks and crows. The video reminds me of a dogfight in airplanes during a combat situation. 

We welcome a screech owl and owlet to our owl box again this year. It’s been a pleasure watching it on our owl cam. Notice the deer waking up in the early morning hours.
